Today I am participating as part of the live blogging team at Verge, Ogilvy’s signature event in London where we invite clients, peers, partners and media to a discussion about the latest innovations in marketing and communications. The structure of the day is broken into three categories: Listen, Experiment and Engage. Under each we are featuring a combination of voices from leading thinkers in our Ogilvy and WPP groups in the UK, as well as clients from IBM, Intel, Unilever, Expedia and Microsoft – just to name a few. Throughout the day, the Verge Live Blog will bring together the voices of many of my colleagues, including some bloggers you might already be reading such as Giles Rhys Jones and some who might just start their own blogs after this live blogging experience. Check back throughout the day on the Verge blog at https://verge.ogilvy.co.uk as we continually publish our thoughts, videos and images from the event, and share your thoughts with us.
There is already some great content on the blog, including an interview from yesterday with Mike Dodds, the Managing Director of OgilvyOne here in the UK, about the vision behind Verge:
